Virtual Reality Application

DreamCraft Privacy Policy

Platform Meta Horizon Store

This policy explains what information the virtual reality application DreamCraft collects, why it is collected, who it is shared with, and how you can delete it. It applies to every version of DreamCraft.

01 Who we are

We are the developer and publisher of DreamCraft ("we", "us", "our") and the controller of the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at any time using the request form in section 10, whichever country you live in.

We designed DreamCraft to work with as little personal data as possible. We do not sell personal data, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not build advertising profiles.

02 What we collect and why

Data Why we need it Source
Meta user ID Identify your save data, entitlements and progress across sessions and devices Meta account
Display name Identify your account when you sign in, and address you in support requests Meta account
Technical data Diagnose problems, measure performance and improve the game Device

03 The detail

Meta account identity

When you launch DreamCraft, the Meta Platform SDK gives us your user ID — a pseudonymous identifier unique to your account and to our application — and your display name. The user ID is the key under which your save data is stored on our servers; the display name is shown to other players. We do not receive your email address, password, payment details or date of birth from Meta.

In-app purchases and downloadable content

Purchases are processed entirely by Meta. We receive only the entitlement record — which items your account owns — so that we can unlock the corresponding content and restore it if you reinstall the game. We never receive or store your payment card, billing address or any other payment information.

Game progress

This version does not store your worlds. What you build exists only for the length of the session and is gone when you close the game, so nothing about your gameplay is held under your user ID on our servers. When world saving arrives in a later update, this policy will be updated before that version ships.

Multiplayer and voice chat

This version is single-player. There is no multiplayer session, no voice chat, and the app does not request access to your microphone. Both are planned for a later update, and this policy will be updated before any version that includes them is released.

Technical and diagnostic data

We collect device model, operating system version, application version, language, approximate region (derived from IP address, not stored as a precise location), session length and an app-instance identifier generated on your device. Your IP address is also processed by our networking provider to route session traffic. We use this to fix bugs and keep the game running well on every supported headset.

04 What we never collect

We do not use your information for advertising, marketing profiles, or automated decision-making that produces legal effects for you.

05 Who we share it with

We use the following providers to operate DreamCraft. Each processes data only on our instructions and under its own privacy policy:

We share your information with these providers only to the extent needed to deliver the features described above. We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it with data brokers or advertising networks. We may also disclose data where the law requires it.

06 What other players can see

Nothing. This version is single-player: no other player can see your name, your world or your actions, because there is no shared session to see them in. When multiplayer arrives, this section will describe exactly what becomes visible, and the policy will be updated before that version ships.

07 How long we keep it

08 Your rights and deleting your data

Every player can have their data deleted, in every country, with no exception. This right does not depend on where you live, on your nationality, or on any local law applying to you. The same is true of your right to ask what we hold about you, to have it corrected, and to receive a copy of it.

How to request deletion

  1. Open the request form in section 10 of this page. It is on this page, needs no account, and works from any country.
  2. Choose “Delete all my data” and give us your Meta user ID or display name, so that we delete the right account and no one else's.
  3. We confirm receipt within 7 days and complete the deletion within 30 days, counted from the day you send the request.
  4. We write back to tell you it is done.

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. We do not charge for any request, we do not require you to give a reason, and we will never restrict your access to the game because you made one. Records we are legally obliged to keep, such as purchase and tax records, are the only exception, and we will tell you if any apply to you.

Additional rights in some regions

Some regions grant further rights on top of the ones above — for example restricting or objecting to processing, withdrawing consent, or lodging a complaint with your local data protection authority. These add to the rights every player already has; they never replace them. Ask through the same form and we will honour them.

For players in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, we process your data to perform our contract with you (providing the game), for our legitimate interests in securing the service and improving the game through aggregated analytics, and to meet our legal obligations. Should a later version add an optional feature that needs more data, such as voice chat, we will ask for your consent before it is used.

09 Children, security and international transfers

DreamCraft is not directed at children. It is intended for players aged 13 and over, in line with the minimum age for a Meta account, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under that age. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We protect your data with encryption in transit, access controls limited to the people who need it, and regular review of our providers. No system is perfectly secure, but we will notify you and the relevant authority without undue delay if a breach affects your data.

Our providers operate globally, so your data may be processed outside your country, including in the United States. Where data leaves the EEA or the UK, transfers are protected by Standard Contractual Clauses or another safeguard approved under applicable law.

10 Changes and contact

If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page, and for significant changes we will also notify you inside the game before the change takes effect. The current version is always available at this address.

Use the form below for any question about this policy and for any privacy request, including deletion of your data. It reaches us directly and is open to players in every country. We answer every message and treat privacy requests as a priority.

Privacy and data requests

If you would rather not use the form, you can also reach us through the support channel on the DreamCraft product page in the Meta Horizon Store. Please put "Privacy request" in your message.
